Community awareness trainings, organized in collaboration with the Final International University Center for Family and Women Research Studies Center, Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality, and Turkish Cypriot Entrepreneurial Women’s Association (GIKAD), are continuing at full speed.

The second event of the series was held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Büyükkonuk Village Square.

This week’s event, titled “Breast Cancer Seminar”, delivered Prof. Dr. Hayriye Deniz Şelimen, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Final International University. In her presentation, she emphasized the importance of early detection in breast cancer, screening methods, and raising individual awareness. She also highlighted the impact of preventive healthcare services on both the quality and span of life.

These weekly events, each focusing on a different topic, aim to raise awareness and promote healthy living within the community.
